Partner Biographies
Ronald D. Henriksen, Partner and Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Henriksen is the President and Chief Executive Officer of EndGenitor Technologies, an adult stem cell company. In addition, Mr. Henriksen serves as Chairman of Cytori Therapeutics, Inc., a regenerative medicine company; Chairman of Angel Learning, Inc., an educational software company; and Chairman of Semafore Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a cancer therapeutics company. He is also a Board Member of PreMD, Inc., a medical diagnostics company.
Previously, Mr. Henriksen served as the President of the Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation, responsible for technology transfer and new business development activities at Indiana University. He was also a consultant to several biotechnology and medical device companies. He also served as President of Itasca Ventures, LLC, an early-stage life science venture capital company.
Mr. Henriksen was President and Chief Executive Officer of Khepri Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company. Khepri merged with Arris Pharmaceuticals in 1996, and now is a part of Celera Genomics. Previously, he held a series of managerial and executive positions at Eli Lilly & Company. Mr. Henriksen was a co-founder of Twilight Venture Partners in 2002.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from Iowa State and a Masters of Business Administration, with distinction, from Harvard Business School. Mr. Henriksen also served as a United States Navy officer on Pacific Fleet ships.
